Halima comes from a large family, where values like kindness, patience, and sharing were naturally instilled. Her upbringing in Cameroon shaped her commitment to community development. She saw local people’s strength, ambition and will, especially women, and the lack of tools to support their growth.  After high school, she studied psychology to better understand human behaviour across cultures and environments and how to support others toward autonomy.
